What is Drag Racer: World?
Drag Racer World is the anticipated sequel to the original Drag Racer Pro Tuner. It is a globe-stretching racing game where you purchcase, upgrade, and customize your vehicle to race AI, or people from around the world!
How do I purchase cars?
From the main page, tap "Dealer" on the bottom bar. From there you select a class of car and after which, you simply scroll through the cars and purchase the one you want to drive.
What do the different classes of car mean?
They stand for different classes of vehicles.
C stands for "common" class, the lowest tier of racing cars.
I stands for "international" class, a tier above the common class.
M stands for "muscle" class, the second highest tier of racing vehicles.
R stands for "racing" class, vehicles that were specifically designed for racing.
How do I get a "perfect start"?
A "perfect start" occurs when you have the Rev Gauge in the blue area when the light turns green.
Doing so gives you a large boost in speed at the beginning of the race.
How do I make my car faster?
You can improve the parts of your car. Alternatively, fine-tuning the ratios in your car will also impact its performance.
How do I upgrade the parts of my car?
From the main page, scroll through your owned cars until you find the car you want to upgrade. Tap the "Custom" option on the bottom option bar. After the pop up menu appears, tap the "Upgrade Car" option.
There will be a scroll menu that allows you to upgrade different parts of your car. Keep in mind however, as you upgrade a part of your car, it will cost more money the next time.
How do I tune up my car?
From the main page, scroll through your owned cars until you find the car you want to upgrade. Tap the "Custom" option on the bottom option bar. After the pop up menu appears, tap the "Tune Car" option.
You can choose to tune the Gear Ratios, Tire Compound, and Valve Timing.
Gear Ratios affect how long you can stay on one gear for.
Tire Compound changes your car's stability at higher and lower speeds. The faster your car can go, the higher this ratio should be.
How do I upgrade my car?
When you go to the "Upgrade" tab from the main page, tap the various parts of the car. You will be given the opportunity to upgrade various elements of your car such as the engine, exhaust, computer etc. You want to maximize Horsepower (HP), Torque (TQ) and minimize the Weight (WT). Doing so allows you to achieve faster times and win harder races.
Are there other modes in which I can race other than career mode?
Definitely! You have the option of racing online!.
You can send time trials to people all around the world and race your Facebook friends (you must be connected to the internet) to see who is the fastest racer in the world.
I upgraded my game but my cars are gone. What happened?
You can get your cars back by reconnecting with Facebook, provided you logged into the last version.
Otherwise, you can restore purchases if you have not or are not connected to Facebook.
